// FOR EVENTS & CONFERENCES
Less searching. More of the event.
Where’s the next session? When does check-in open? Give attendees a chat they can turn to for the practical details. ChatGenius uses your agenda, venue information, and FAQs to help them find their way, with a route to your team when a question needs a person.
// WHAT IT HANDLES
The questions your team hears all day.
Schedule & agenda
Help attendees find session times, rooms, and breaks from the agenda you provide. When the schedule changes, update the source so the chat has the revised details.
Speakers & sessions
Who’s speaking, what’s the session about, and who is it for? Give attendees a way to explore your line-up without hunting through the whole program.
Getting there & getting around
Share the right entrance, parking details, and map links from your venue information. Include accessible routes and transport notes where you have them.
Check-in & ticket questions
Explain badge pickup, check-in times, and ticket policies. Requests involving a specific booking need an approved ticketing connection or a handoff to your team.
The everyday details
Wi-Fi access, lunch times, restrooms, and where to leave a coat. Keep the useful information together so attendees have somewhere to check.
A route to your team
Some requests need judgment, not another automated answer. Set up handoff rules for complaints, special requests, and questions outside your event content.
// MAKE IT EASY TO FIND
A place to ask, one scan away.
Put a QR code on badges, signs, or the event program. Link it to web chat or a connected messaging channel such as WhatsApp, so attendees know where to ask. Web chat opens in a browser; messaging channels need the relevant app and account. Test the link and venue connectivity before printing.
// GETTING READY
From your event details to a useful chat.
Start with the event information
Share your agenda, speaker details, venue notes, and FAQs. Review what’s missing and decide who will keep the information current as plans change.
Choose where attendees will chat
Set up web chat or the messaging channels you need. Test answers, links, and handoffs with your team before sharing the QR code with attendees.
Review questions as they come in
Look for repeated questions and unclear answers during the event. Update the content and follow up on requests that need your team’s attention.
// THROUGHOUT YOUR EVENT
Before the doors open. After they close.
Help people plan their visit
Share the chat link alongside your registration information. Attendees can ask about arrival, the venue, and what to bring before event day.
Keep the practical details current
Check the start time, entrances, parking, and any last-minute changes. If you’re sending reminders, use a connected channel and the appropriate attendee consent.
Make the chat easy to find
Place QR codes near entrances and busy areas. Keep the information desk visible too, so attendees can choose how to get help.
Use the questions to plan the next one
Review what people asked and where information was missing. Update your event resources for next time, and share a feedback link if it’s part of your follow-up.
Questions before you get started.
How fast can we go live before our event?
That depends on your content, channels, and integrations. Share your event date along with the agenda, venue details, and FAQs so we can agree a realistic timeline. Leave time to test answers and handoffs before attendees start using the chat.
What if attendees don't have WhatsApp?
Offer web chat, which opens in a browser without a messaging account. You can also discuss other supported messaging channels during setup. Choose a clear destination for your QR code and tell attendees what they’ll need to open it.
Can we send announcements during the event?
Announcements depend on the connected channel, attendee consent, and its messaging rules. We’ll review what your setup supports before you rely on it. For urgent or safety-critical information, keep your established event announcements and on-site procedures in place.
What happens to the event content afterwards?
Discuss whether you want to keep the event information available, archive it, or reuse it for another event. Confirm retention and billing terms before choosing. Review dates, speakers, and venue details before reusing old content.
Does it integrate with our ticketing platform?
Tell us which platform you use and what you want the chat to do. Sharing ticket policies is different from accessing an order or changing a booking. Those actions depend on the platform’s API, permissions, and integration setup, which we’ll check before confirming support.
Let’s talk about your next event.
Bring your agenda and a few questions your team keeps getting. We’ll walk through how event chat could help, what needs connecting, and what setup would involve.
